Some moving company websites will allow customers to get an online price quote, only to find out later that the actual cost is more than they thought.

Since our rates are governed and regulated by the Alabama Public Service Commission, and as such are subject to occasional changes and adjustments, we prefer to have an experienced representative meet with our customers to give them a guaranteed price for our services, based on a visual survey of the contents of the premises. There will be no surprise charges and no hidden fees. We'll tell you exactly what your move will cost and you won't pay a penny more.

As a guideline, our rates are based on distance between locations. Relocations within 30 miles are charged at an hourly rate and relocations over 30 miles are charged by weight and mileage.

Delta Transfer Lines has the right size truck to move any size home or office. Our 18-foot truck will accommodate an apartment or condo's furnishings, the 28-footer is perfect for an average-sized home, and our 18-wheeler can handle everything else.
